AMERICAN UNITED TRANSPORTATION GROUP OR ITS PROVIDERS OF SERVICE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LEFT BEHIND OR LOST IN VEHICLES.

 

Please note that drivers are independent contractors.  Neither American United Transportation Group nor any affiliated subsidiary group are responsible for the items left in a vehicle after a trip ends.  We cannot guarantee that a driver has your item or can immediately deliver it to you.  The Company does not collect or hold on to items left in any vehicles.  We do not procure insurance for personal belongings left in vehicles, for this reason, we are unable to provide refunds for rides or reimbursement for the value of lost items.

Drivers are responsible for returning lost items to any City of Milwaukee police station that will inventory the item/s in a computer based system accessible by personnel at any of their stations.

In accordance with the City of Milwaukee Ordinances, Chapter 100 Public Passenger Vehicle Regulations, Subchapter 4 - Operating Regulations, Section 100-59, items will then be made available for pick up at the property bureau at police headquarters:

For riders that use a vehicle stationed at Milwaukee Mitchell Field Airport, those drivers are instructed to turn in lost items to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office located directly at the airport.
